Aviation Ground School

Ground School is offered periodically to support the student pilot's preparation to take the Written Examination. The exam must be successfully passed before the student pilot can qualify for their final check ride and pilot's license award.  Our ground school is typically offered over a six-week period, one evening per week, for about 2.5 hours. Our course is priced competitively --- and we offer home-made cookies!

School Programs

Red Sky Aviation, LLC, is proud to offer a Youth Enrichment Program and is open to school groups from around the Tri-Valley Area. We can offer a program at the school, at our hangar, or a combination of both. We love to encourage an interest in aviation with our kids and youth. Our program includes information on the history and science of flight and always includes an opportunity to climb inside an airplane and try the controls, as well as to watch airplanes take off and land, and sometimes we can arrange a tour of the Aircraft Control Tower. A nominal charge covers the cost of our scheduling arrangements, time with a Certified Flight Instructor, and any materials such as airplane models or crafts.
